Sometimes when i have absolutely no idea what to wear for the day i will be a little naughty and pinch a dress or two from the shop! I justify this naughty behaviour by thinking i am simply taking them out for a day trip, you know to see some sun until they are shipped off to their new homes in the future.
I can't believe this amazing teal dress is still up for sale it is too perfect! adorable detailing on the waist and oh so so comfortable! it is perfect for the transitioning weather we are having lately i don't know whether to bring an umbrella or my sunglasses!
So because of the long weekend i have a blissful three days off which i am using to photograph some exciting projects that will go live next week, as well as the usual house weekend things (boring) and filming a new hair tutorial for you all (yay).
I hope you all have a swell few days off and that the sun stays shining! XX

So as you all know Restyle on the runway was last Thursday! I have been flat tack since then so i haven't managed to post about it until now. I have been a little sneaky and borrowed a few images from LeFanciulle and Peanut Moonbeam Knickers as i was unable to take any on the day! (thank you ladies xx)
The day was so fun and started off with coffee whilst getting primped and preened in hair and makeup. The nerves were replaced with excitement after the people were all shuffled in and the music started! I was first down the run way so i was expecting to stack it..(i didn't phew) and after looking at the floor the first time around i decided to just have fun with it and smile and look into the crowd by the second outfit! i am glad i did because everyone was so cheery and clapping! Too lovely!!
As you can see in the photo of me i look uber serious..don't ask me why but i am putting it down to serious model business. The other Restyle ladies looked amazing and it was over in a flash! A huge thank you to Perth Fashion Festival for asking me to be a part of the project, i am a little sad its all over xx (Images by: LeFanciulle and Peanut Moonbeam Knickers)

Its official!! The 30 Days of Restyle bloggers will be strutting our stuff down the runway tomorrow. To say i am nervous is an understatement, as i am quite happy to expose myself to the world through photos on this little blog but walking down a runway is much...much more scary!
So if you are in the city tomorrow at around 11am and have a spare hour or so to come on down to the STM Fashion Central tent please do!! Why? because its free and you will get to listen to some funky music and watch us attempt to stay on the runway and not fall off.
I am still yet to decide on the two outfits from Restyle i will use..thoughts?? id love your input on what was your favourite..to refresh your memory click here.
Wish me luck! i will post some photos of the day on Friday so if you cant make it down you will still get to see all the madness!

Saturday afternoon was glorious! After a much needed catch up with my mother who drove down for the weekend i snuck in a little drive past the Guilford strip and dawdled around! It is so easy to loose track of time between drooling over the vintage records and fighting with my better judgement to not purchase an antique pram...because it looked awesome and i could totally find a place in the house for it...right?
The rest of the weekend was spent celebrating my nieces 2nd birthday, eating too much cake and strawberries and playing with Mr Boots he is getting so big now!
Xx Happy Monday

Today has been filled with japanese, tea and soaking up this amazing day...along with work but thats boring! Whenever i have a meh day and have no idea what to wear i 99% of the time will end up wearing black red and white!
On a good note its friday! Huzzah!! and i have no other plans this weekend than spending time with the puppy and hopefully catching up with the girls!
Happy Friday! XXxx

Its no secret that i have a little crush on Deborah Lloyd, her designs for kate Spade are constantly in my dreams (that meaning i dream that i am surrounded by Kate Spade purses and shoes..and a ton of pastries...don't judge my choice on the pastries..you can roll around in hamburgers and kittens while a scantily clad pirate with washboard abs gives you a foot massage if you want..and i will totally totally get it!!)
I wanted to share a few pics of the Kate Spade Fall 2012 collection, if you haven't already seen them! I am completely loving the focus on spots and my all time fav pairing of black and red! swoon..
And to top it off they have also released a few snippets of the upcoming Spring 2013 collection...oh...my..grape juice!!!
Happy Thursday XX (All images from kate Spade)

I am a little sad to be returning to work today after such a relaxing week off! Me and Mr Boots had plenty of playtime and it feels like i spent most of the week like a sloth! But i managed to do some work on the shop and re-watched most of The Office.
I caught up with the oh so delightful Blonde Suburbia and The Velvet Bow on Sunday for a quick coffee and chat (which then involved a colourful alley way wall and photos..typical blogger style).
We have the Restyle runway show coming up next week and to say i am nervous is an understatement! I have to choose two outfits from Restyle project and walk them down the runway (i am no model..eeeek) this is definately out of my comfort zone! but it will be swell to see the Restyle bloggers again!
I hope your start to the week has been fantastic! XX

Having this week off has been so so nice! i have managed to get a lot of things done that have been hanging around unfinished, hemming and DIY's mostly! it has also given me some time to bond with Mr Boots! he is definitely settled in and has been giving me a run around hiding shoes and anything else chewable!
Even though we had a freak hail storm at the start of the week i am taking advantage of the sunshine today in a super comfy pastel vintage dress, it is perfect for lounging around and reading books in!
I hope your week was amazing and that you have some swell plans for the weekend! I'm off to soak up some sun xxx

I am so excited today to share with you the new Vintage Valley Look Book Spring/Summer 2012.
This little project has been in the works for such a long time and i can't believe i can share it with you now! Vintage Valley shop is a very big piece of my life and to kick of Spring with a brand new look book is beyond words!
It highlights everything i love about Spring/Summer, field dwelling, listening to records, picnics and cute dresses!and i hope you can imagine your Spring filled with similar things!
I was lucky enough to work with the amazing photographer Meghan Plowman, I have been such a fan of her work for so long and i am more than thankful that she agreed to help with the shoot. She has so much vision and talent which you can tell just by looking at the images and made me feel so at ease shooting! Thank You Meghan!!
Good news is if you love any of the pieces featured in the Look Book they are now available for purchase within the Vintage Valley Shop! They are such beautiful pieces and i can't wait to ship them off to the ladies who purchase them!
Thank you again Meghan and i can't wait to collaborate again in the future for our next Vintage Valley Look Books!

He is finally here!!!!
We spent the weekend absolutely smitten with this little guy, he is playful and sweet with a whole lot of cheekiness (which is going to keep me on my toes) you can probably already tell by my face in these photos he kept me up for a few nights in a row which has caused the bags under my eyes to bless me with their presence (he is definitely worth it though).
I can't wait to see Boots grow up, I'm sure there is plenty of chewing shoes, poop pickup and finding fur everywhere to come...but we already don't know how we lived without him for so long.
