Now that 30 Days of Restyle is over i wanted to do a little roundup of all the outfits i posted through the month! Im not going to lie looking back there are a few outfits where i am a little lost as to why i paired certain things (which im blaming on fuzzy morning brain) but its nice to look back on it all!
I am so happy the Perth Fashion Festival has included op shopping and local bloggers this year! So go on, get out there and hit up your local, there are tons of goodies to be found!
I am taking the weekend off blogging..because we pick up the puppy tomorrow morning eeeep!!!!but will be back on Monday XX (Thank you to all my readers who followed the blog during Restyle XX)
Well here it is..outfit 30!!!! And the end of 30 Days of Restyle! (sob) although it has been a challenge to post every day (sometimes i almost missed a day) it has been oh so fun! I have loved the fact that this little project has focused entirely on op shopping and the wonderful things they do for the community and hopefully it has inspired a few ladies/men to give it a go.
I'm so hoping you were following the other lovely bloggers who were a part of Restyle too, they came up with some amazing outfits and i am so glad i had the opportunity to hang out with them all during the month, they were an endless source of inspiration and kept my creative ideas for outfits flowing!
Now it will be back to usual blogging i have so many exciting things to debut on the blog (a few sneaky projects) and the release of Vintage Valley Spring look book eeekkk!!!!!! (i am a little too excited about all of it)

Today i will be putting final touches to the Vintage Valley look book eeeek!!! i am so so excited to share it with you all! It will be released the first week of September so keep an eye..or two out! I will also be drinking lots of tea and eating fruit as i can feel a dreaded lurgy coming on nooooo i have avoided the flu so far i seriously do not want it!
If you are looking for the perfect quick fix hairstyle i love this one, i call it the twist tuck (i am sure there is a technical term somewhere) you basically split your hair and twist each side all the way around to the back and tuck it over and pin! Bad hair day pfffftt!!
I have worn this skirt on Restyle already but because i love it so, im wearing it again!! Instead of a bold colour clash like last time i opted for subtle pink and white hues i think its still just as cute!
Now go on and get out there, the sun is shining and there are adventures to be had!

We are having quite a gloomy day in Perth, although the rain is soaking my shoes and fizzing up my hair i love the "just rained" smell! nothing quite like it!! I of course never carry an umbrella when desperately needed so i have been walking around attempting to avoid walking under drain pipes (they always catch me..sneaky sneaky drain pipes)
Im definately still in Winter eating mode, its scaring me a little that Spring coming means Summer is just around the corner..which means...i better get my act together!! my Spring vintage dresses will be cross with me if i am spending 20min a day trying to squeeze into them! I think i need a new ipod play list to get me motivated, always does the trick!
I hope your having a swell Tuesday..guess what!! only 2 days left of Restyle..whaaaaat!!!!! XX

I honestly don't mind being busy on a Monday though, makes the rest of the week fly by too! i have a week off next week and I'm so looking forward to it!! I'm making many many plans to put that week off to good use!
I hope your start to the week was a productive one XX I'll be back tomorrow (earlier) with another Restyle outfit!

Today has been filled with too many cherries, sun and puppy visiting! The way a Sunday should be spent id say..Z has had the weekend off too so it has been so nice to spend it with him! too bad the housework still needs to be done (sigh) i feel like it never ends!
I love this pleated skirt, its adorable and it fits like a glove! it definitely gives you the urge to twirl (sometimes at inappropriate times..like at the supermarket).
Happy Sunday xxxx

Today has been such a nice day so far free fairy floss and snake holding at Bunnings (i know..i held a snake ahhhh) I'm sure all these activities are for the kids but i think i enjoyed it more than them! then we visited family and i came home with enough light to take a few snaps!
I threw this outfit on because we are about head out to a friends place, it is the perfect lazy day outfit! Flowy skirt and a loose fitting top can't go wrong with that!! I wanted to head to the park and dwell for a few hours but with the puppy arriving next Saturday we needed to prepare a little more! Eeep 6 days to go.
I hope your all enjoying your Saturday xxx

Spring is almost here! the flowers are starting to bloom and the air is filled with warmth and sweet scents. Alongside Autumn it is one of the prettiest times of the year and i want to do nothing more than wear pastel colours and eat fruit in the sunshine!
These lilly white legs will be seeing a little sun (a little) soon and im too excited about finding myself a cute bycicle to ride and taking the puppy for long walks.
(P.S - Its a total coincidence that the tree and i coordinated our outfits today..she should have called me first...honestly!!)
Have a swell day xx

The weather this morning has me listening to old Regina Spektor songs and drinking Green Tea..it also means that blistering winds and rolled hair do not mix so a hair bow is just as cute (saves me looking like a wind swept gremlin) i don't mind being cooped up on a day like today..watching the rain is so therapeutic its like a fresh start!
The weather will clear up by the weekend which is perfect because i am planning on kidnapping Z on Saturday for some park dwelling, also maybe sneak in some Dim Sum...hopefully..those pork buns are calling me!

Blonde Suburbia, Sass & Spice & Hug Sized
So this morning was spent sipping on bubbles and celebrating the program launch of Perth Fashion Festival 2012, i have never attended the launch of anything really so was happy to mosey along and see some amazing fashion and gossip with the other Restyle bloggers.
As Restyle was a little kickstarter project before the launch of the festival its exciting to think about all the amazing shows and pop up shops that will be happening throughout the city for the week and its nice to know we were a little part of that (aw isn't that nice) It started to bucket down with rain this morning so all my plans for a pastel pink vintage dress went out the window and i went with classic red and black instead (and heels that were not going to make fashion roadkill out of me by tripping down the stairs.. i added an image of the models from the launch someone said on Instagram that they look like the ladies out of District 1 in the Hunger Games...(I can so totally see that haha)!! all in all not a bad way to spend a Tuesday morning!

I can't believe we are already at day 20 of Restyle that means only 10 more outfits to go!!!! Its all going too fast, but i have really been enjoying this little project i hope you have been following the other bloggers who are a part of Restyle too.
This is a very..i couldn't decide outfit!! I couldn't decide on which belt to wear with this outfit so i went with them both! I wanted to wear a houndstooth skirt and scarf so i went with that too!! why not!! rules are meant to be broke right?
I hope your Monday is amazing so far..i barely had any sleep last night tossed and turned so i am thinking coffee is my best friend today!
XX Happy Monday

Today has been filled with drinking large mugs of coffee sleeping until noon, watching Marie Antionette, hemming pretty vintage dresses and arranging Peonies! they are one of my favourite flowers and i always look for the pastel pink ones! not only are they cute as photo props but they make any space look amazing!
I found this pretty dress at AnglicareWA the length was to the floor (a little too long for my liking) nothing i couldn't fix though! I love that these retro dresses are all handmade i always imagine a young girl sitting and sewing the dress with so much love, maybe it was to impress her sweetheart or it was worn at her first school ball..who knows!!!
P-S: for extra cuteness..turn your belt around so your buckle is at the back its like a mini surprise!!
I hope your Sunday is relaxing I'm counting down the days until our puppy comes home...a week and a half to go!!!! eeeepp!!!
