umpire stripes...

Im going to start off by saying i love this skirt...its a cross between a classic 50's skirt and a umpire haha i have worn it on the blog before but actually havent had much wear out of it!!! but today i thought..that must change!!!!!!

Aside from the fact ive noticed i am wearing alot more black and white than i normally do i needed a little teeny bit of colour...especially since today will be the only day of sunshine for awhile..(sigh) the whole weekend will be drab and miserable....

I am also wearing a gorgeous little bird brooch my Gran gave to me, i have a slight obsession with birds and bird accessories!!! and i love the gun metal grey colour of this one sometimes i like darker brooches which makes a little more understated pop to an outfit!!

I cannot believe how tired i look here, i honestly think i need to sleep for a month or so...well on Saturday i wont get out of bed all morning im sure...i love weekend sleep ins...

I have been obsessing over Spring coming and trying out all the new colour pallets..im thinking Pastel pinks with Khaki green and Navy stripes with floral...Cant Wait!!! ive already planned a Pims party when its warm enough...

Also it was a nice surprise to see i was featured over at this lovely lady's blog for the blitz the night fashion parade..if you noticed my hair looks awful..well thats because we spent about half an hour running in the rain (in heels) looking for the warehouse it was being held at ahhhh hahaha

Don't forget to enter the giveaway below if you havent already, it will be drawn next monday...

(Wearing: Vintage stripe skirt, Cotton On Bow top, Sportsgirl bow headband, Vintage brooch & Patent Beige pumps)
